In terms of territorial scope, the insurer provides cover for liability claims that are asserted before the courts of the states of Europe, Turkey, the Russian Federation and the other states of the former Soviet Union, as well as non-European territories of European states, the EU or the EEA, and that are based on a breach of the law of those states.

Out-of-court dispute resolution

In disputes between lawyers and their clients, out-of-court dispute resolution is available on application at the regional bar association (pursuant to § 73(2) no. 3 in conjunction with (5) BRAO) or at the Conciliation Board of the Legal Profession (Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft, § 191f BRAO) at the Federal Bar (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer).
